I have developed and managed data quality tools used by more than 20,000 researchers to collect high-quality data. I help research teams and companies improve their processes for identifying fraudulent, inattentive, and AI-generated respondents, and improve their recruitment workflows and research products.

I have spent 10+ years studying and developing tools to improve online research methods and data quality, with 5 years of experience in SaaS product creation and management. I managed products used by 20,000+ researchers to collect high-quality data. I have 2 patents, 20+ peer-reviewed publications, and 15+ conference presentations and podcast interviews.

As Senior Research and Product Scientist at CloudResearch (2019–2024), I created and grew Sentry, a SaaS product that prevents fraud and improves data quality on surveys through AI-based behavioral and technological vetting. I grew Sentry from inception to monthly use on over 7 million surveys. I led quantitative research development of Sentry, testing and setting quality criteria, experimenting with and implementing integrative solutions combining AI, behavioral, machine learning, and technological methods to create a novel tool solving a critical industry need. I spearheaded product-related coordination efforts across technology, marketing, and sales teams. I personally pitched, secured, and nurtured relationships with multiple Fortune 500 companies, with a portfolio including Dow Jones, Kellogg's, and Verizon.

Before my work at CloudResearch, I was a graduate-level researcher for several years, working with labs at many top-tier research institutions. In addition to publishing peer-reviewed research in areas such as online research methods, data quality, and clinical and social psychology, I developed skills in research design, data collection, thinking methodologically, writing and presenting effectively, and translating ideas into actionable experiments. I was trained in data analysis, including t-tests, regressions, moderation and mediation analyses, ANOVAs, post-hoc analyses, and optimal visualization using SPSS and R.
